LIP

LIP is a package management tool for legacy components in Lime CRM add-ons. A LIP package can contain for example tables and fields, VBA modules and localizations.

LIP can be used as a deploy tool by creating your own LIP package in a test solution and then install it in production from a zip file, or to install an add-on by downloading its LIP package from Lime Store.

Info

LIP does not handle modern customizations, such as web components and python packages. However, it is still needed in order to create new limetypes or add properties on existing limetypes.
